She made it through the mite war — and now she’s frosting up. It’s been a while since the last Black Widow update, so this one catches everything up: the flip to flower, the first four weeks finding her structure, and where she’s really at right now in Week 5.
- Strain: Black Widow (Nirvana Seeds)
- Stage: Flower, Week 5
- Since the last update: Won the mite fight, flipped to 12/12, structure filled out through Weeks 1-4
- Right now: Trichomes coming in, tight nodes, stretch has stopped, leaves praying
Weeks 1-4 — The Flip & Finding Her Structure
After winning the fight against the mites in veg, she went into flower clean. The first four weeks were about the structure setting in — nodes tightening up, the canopy filling out, and the plant settling into what she was actually going to become. Full recap in the video below.
Week 5 — Frosty Beginnings
This is where it gets exciting — she’s finally frosting up. Trichomes are coming in properly, the nodes are tight, and the stretch has completely stopped. Leaves are praying, which is exactly the sign you want to see at this stage. A couple of real Siri check-ins from inside the tent made it into this one too — hands-free logging while I’m actually working the plant, not stopping to type on a phone.
- Trichomes: Coming in — the real frosty stage has begun
- Structure: Tight nodes, stretch has stopped
- Health: Leaves praying — a genuinely good sign at this stage
